WHO’S BEEN STEALING OUR FOOD?
When the Potts family sit down for a meal, talk soon moves to querying who has been stealing their food.
Not that there has been an outbreak of breakfast thefts in Linton where they live; they are rehearsing their parts in a forthcoming panto ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’.

For Ruth Potts is Mummy Bear, husband Craig is Daddy Bear and nine-year-old Jack is Baby Bear in the Warkworth Drama Group production which is to be staged in December.
Self employed chef Craig, who is making his acting debut, said that he needed little persuading to take the role.
”It’s good fun, and nice that we can do something like this together,” he said.
Ruth, who has appeared in several productions for the group, said: “Although it can be a bit tricky talking with a mouthful of bolognaise, the meal table is a good place to rehearse our lines without distractions as we are all together.”
The head of youth work for the Bedlington-based Trinity Youth Association, Ruth added: “Jack absolutely loves being in the panto; he was desperate to land the part of Baby Bear.”
Panto director Mike Dixon said: “I was delighted when the Potts family all auditioned for the panto. To cast the three of them as the Three Bears was just too good an opportunity to miss.”
The traditional tale gets the Warkworth treatment with bags of local gags, music and mayhem and Goldilocks turning to Auntie Septic and her friends to help combat the wicked plans of the evil Queen Bee.
